Built for trust

Confidence at every stage of the process

Fine jewellery requires a high level of trust — in the people making it, the materials being used, the price being quoted, the quality being delivered and the way your order is handled from start to finish.

Arviah is designed to reduce that uncertainty through a series of checks, controls and verification steps built into the manufacturing process.

Verified Manufacturers

Every manufacturer on Arviah is reviewed before being approved to participate on the platform.

Our assessment looks at more than portfolio quality. We evaluate finishing standards, workshop conditions, production processes, material-handling practices and the internal controls manufacturers use throughout production.

We also assess how consistently those processes are followed in practice. For example, natural and lab-grown diamonds should be handled and stored separately, jewellery should be clearly identified throughout production, and appropriate controls should exist when finished pieces are transferred or shipped.

Manufacturer approval is based on both defined checks and direct judgement. A workshop may appear compliant on paper and still not meet the standard required to work through Arviah.

Manufacturer performance continues to be monitored after onboarding. Repeated failures to meet platform or production standards may result in suspension.

Structured Project Briefs

Accurate manufacturing starts with accurate information.

Arviah’s project submission process is designed around the information manufacturers need to assess a piece properly before submitting a bid. Depending on the project, this may include CAD files, reference images, materials, quality specifications, budget requirements and other relevant production details.

By giving manufacturers a structured brief from the beginning, we reduce the risk of assumptions, incomplete quotations and avoidable changes later in production.

Transparent Bid Comparison

Arviah is built to help customers compare manufacturers on more than price alone.

Each bid can be considered alongside information available on the manufacturer’s profile, including order history, customer reviews and other relevant performance indicators.

The objective is not to create a race to the lowest price. It is to give customers better visibility into the trade-offs between price, experience, performance and suitability before making a decision.

Once a bid has been accepted, manufacturers are expected to honour the agreed terms. Repeated pricing or performance issues may result in action against the manufacturer’s account.

Payment Protection

Customer payments are made to Arviah and are not released to the manufacturer at the start of production.

Once production is complete, the finished piece is first sent to Arviah for quality control and verification. The manufacturer is paid only after the jewellery has passed these checks and has been dispatched to the customer.

Under Arviah’s current process, manufacturer payment is released 15 days after dispatch. This provides time for any genuine issue identified upon receipt to be raised while Arviah remains involved in the transaction.

The purpose of this structure is straightforward: the manufacturer has confidence that the order is financially committed before beginning production, while the customer has the assurance that payment is not released simply because work has started or a piece has been produced.

Arviah Quality Control

Finished jewellery is sent to Arviah before it is dispatched to the customer.

Every piece is reviewed by our QC team against two standards: the approved design specification and the physical quality of the finished jewellery.

The piece is compared with the original CAD, reference material and project specifications to confirm that the product delivered reflects what was ordered.

It is then inspected for workmanship and finishing, including issues such as scratches, excess metal, surface quality and other production defects.

Where an issue can be corrected appropriately by Arviah, it may be resolved in-house. Where further manufacturing work is required, the piece is returned to the manufacturer for correction before delivery.

Independent Material Verification

Arviah does not rely solely on manufacturer declarations.

Every completed piece receives an SGL report, which is used to verify relevant diamond characteristics, including colour, clarity and whether the diamonds assessed are natural or lab-grown.

Metal purity is verified through hallmarking.

For diamonds of one carat and above, a recognised grading report from IGI, GIA or HRD is required, depending on the stone and supplier.

The final documentation may also include product information such as gross weight, net weight and other relevant specifications.

Insured Delivery

Once a piece has passed Arviah’s quality-control and verification process, it is prepared for final delivery.

All fine jewellery shipments arranged through Arviah are insured.

If an issue arises after a piece has passed Arviah’s QC process and the matter falls within Arviah’s responsibility, Arviah will arrange the required correction and cover the associated shipping costs.

One Process. Multiple Layers of Control.

Arviah remains involved throughout the transaction — from manufacturer selection and bidding to payment handling, quality control, verification and delivery.

Our approach is simple: important decisions should not depend on a single point of trust.

They should be supported by a process.
