How Payment Protection Works

Payment Protection, In Three Steps

Every Arviah project includes a controlled payment process designed to protect both the customer and the manufacturer. Your payment is made to Arviah and is not released to the manufacturer at the start of production.

1. Payment Secured

Once you accept a bid, your payment is made to Arviah. This confirms the order and allows production to begin, while ensuring the manufacturer does not receive payment before the agreed work has been completed.

2. Piece Approved

Once production is complete, the finished piece is sent to Arviah for quality control and verification.

Our team compares the piece against the approved CAD, reference material and project specifications, while also reviewing the physical quality and finishing against Arviah’s standards.

If the piece requires correction, it is resolved before the order proceeds to final delivery.

3. Manufacturer Paid

The manufacturer is paid only after the piece has passed Arviah’s quality-control process and has been dispatched to you.

Under Arviah’s current process, payment is released to the manufacturer 15 days after dispatch. This provides time for any genuine issue identified upon receipt to be raised while Arviah remains involved in the transaction.

Why This Matters

For customers, the manufacturer does not receive payment simply because production has begun or because a piece has been completed. The jewellery must first pass Arviah’s quality-control and verification process before payment can move forward.

For manufacturers, the order is financially committed before they invest in materials and labour, giving them greater confidence that approved work will be paid for.

What If Something Goes Wrong?

If an issue is identified during Arviah’s quality-control process, the piece is corrected before delivery. Where further manufacturing work is required, it is returned to the manufacturer for resolution.

If an issue is raised after receipt, Arviah remains involved during the applicable payment-release period and reviews the matter before the transaction is considered complete.
